In Loving Memory of Jennifer Lynn Samson Of Indianapolis, IN formerly of Madison Creek, WV Jennifer Lynn Samson, aged 42, of Indianapolis, IN, departed this life on August 28, at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on April 20, 1981, at Logan, WV, the daughter of Debra Lynn (Justice) Garnet of Indianapolis, IN and the late Coleman A. Wells. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Brewster and Marion Wells; and her grandparents, Marion, Sr. and Florence Wells, Jesse Justice, and Clara Stafford. Jennifer was a dedicated manager at Village Pantry in Indianapolis and had also served as the Manager of Family Dollar for over five years. Her work ethic and commitment to her career were admired by colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her professional life, Jennifer found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid hiker, relishing the beauty of nature on her outdoor adventures. Her passion for planning big family events brought loved ones closer together, creating cherished memories for all. Jennifer had a playful side too; she enjoyed spending her free time playing games on her phone, demonstrating her love for fun and technology. However, her most cherished moments were those spent with her beloved family. Her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Jennifer Lynn Samson leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and a deep love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 15 years, Ricky Samson of Indianapolis, IN; three daughters, Karen Wells of Rita, Erine Matthews and Katelyn Matthews, both of IN; two sons, Ricky Matthews of Rita and Skylar Matthews of IN; a grandson, Jaxon Tie Dale Wells Willis, due to arrive October 5, 2023; her mother, Debra Lynn Justice Garnett of IN; her step-mother, Sharon Wells of Rita; two brothers, Christopher White of Indianapolis, IN and Paul Wells of Madison Creek; two special nieces, Briella Saul and Brinlee Saul; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the Rita Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church at Rita, WV. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Rita Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery at McConnell.
