Please share a memory of Paula to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Paula Ann Blevins, 65, of Accoville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, March 8, 2024, leaving her earthly home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. She was born May 17th, 1958, at Man, the daughter of the late Norma Lee Smith Beavers. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44+ years, Troy Lee Blevins, a sister, Melissa Susan Doss, and her brothers-in-law, Ray Blevins and Lee Blevins. A devoted Christian, she exemplified love and compassion as a cherished wife and mother. After graduating from Man High School in 1976, she attempted to enlist in the U.S. Army until she met the love of her life. Paula eventually found her professional calling in the Walmart Claims department, where her talents were bright. Walmart entrusted her with auditing responsibilities, sending her on assignments across the nation and overseas. Beyond her professional endeavors, Paula found joy in creative pursuits. Sewing and woodworking were not just hobbies but expressions of her artistic soul, reflecting her attention to detail and craftsmanship. Paula’s legacy is one of faith, love, and dedication. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brady Lee Blevins of Accoville; sister-in-law, Peggy (Howard) Epperly of Morgantown; sister-in-law, Louise Blevins of Man; brother-in-law, James Doss of Accoville; a niece, Amber (Mick) Hannibal; and four nephews, Charlie (Angie) Epperly, Joshua Doss, Greg (Julie) Blevins, and Rick (Amber) Blevins, along with a host of other relatives and friends. The Blevins family wishes to thank the Dignity Hospice staff and St. Mary’s Hospital for the many acts of kindness shown to Paula. A special thank you is extended to Christopher Kelly, PAC, and Dr. Kerri Donahue-Wood, MD. for the care and compassion through the years regarding Paula’s medical needs. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Pollard officiating.
